rush city :: essays research papers
RUSH CITY PRISON1.It is a correctional installation2.In 1994 the Minnesota general assembly appropriated funds for a new correctional facility in or close to the gibe cities. Rush city was selected from many spots in or rough the twin cities. In 1996 construction began. Thoughtful, innovative design was a unspeakable difference in the cost of the prison, thinking of space requirements and how many workers would be required to run the facility safely. 3.89 one thousand thousand dollars of an 83-acre facility determined on a 385-acre site. Total inmate capacity of about kB pris unmatchedrs.4.None that I read about5.Well, Rush City is the rove for our county fair and it sees a lot more action then one may think. It is right on the freeway which makes an easy commute from almost anywhere around the ara, and it also provides a nice, safe working purlieu that is close to home and pays well. There is non many departments like stores in commission city but it is full of factory buildings and worksites. It is also a good spot for the inmates themselves. They can easily have a furrow on the outside if they are allowed that option and it is close to the facility.6.In rush city there are a lot of farm boys who are tuff enough to be prison guards, I actually make love of a guy who grew up with my cousins and I on their farm and he went through a strict training program to be a guard in the visitors section. As far as food is concerned there seems to be a lot of ways food is delivered and make up for the inmates. From the usual luncheon lady to sysco. I do not know much about the security system in the facility but it must be state of the art if they dropped 90 million dollars on the place. I think it is a fine place for a prison, I believe the inmates would be safer staying in the fence then actually escaping into that town.7. As stated in question 3 the Minnesota legislature gave 83 million to build the facility8. A thank immortal I now have a job that i s close to home, it beat generation driving 52 miles everyday and the pay is competitive to what I was get at my city job. I can run home for lunch and I get to see my kids more then I utilize to.
